Disappointing Slow Cooker for Home Chefs

This slow cooker did not live up to my expectations. The heat setting was inconsistent, and it took much longer to cook than anticipated. The design is also lackluster and does not add any aesthetic value to my home and kitchen.

Pros
  • Compact size
Cons
  • Inconsistent heat, lackluster design

Best just to keep warm

Easy to clean, just plug in. However - I don't like that there is no way to control the temperature. The meat that was soaked in it for 10 hours didn't get hot enough to even cook it, so I threw the meat away because I didn't trust it. I'll keep it in case I need sauce or something else warm, but no more. Do not buy this again or anything from this company.

Pros
  • Tempered glass lid with integrated side handles
Cons
  • Can hurt

Make no mistake with Crocodile Pot

Great buy. Croc-potting is the right way to cook, at least one of them. TIP: Unless you're making soup or need leftover crocodile broth; You only need to add about an inch to cook the meat on its own. I knew this, but I kept adding more and more water anyway. Finally, when my brain got the better of my zeal, I started adding exactly 1 and 3/4 of the water to my croc BEFORE adding the meat and slowly let the croc steam. Don't be an impatient little kid and open the lid of the crocodile pot while

Pros
  • Small round slow cooker for party sauces and more
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
