Make no mistake with Crocodile Pot

Great buy. Croc-potting is the right way to cook, at least one of them. TIP: Unless you're making soup or need leftover crocodile broth; You only need to add about an inch to cook the meat on its own. I knew this, but I kept adding more and more water anyway. Finally, when my brain got the better of my zeal, I started adding exactly 1 and 3/4 of the water to my croc BEFORE adding the meat and slowly let the croc steam. Don't be an impatient little kid and open the lid of the crocodile pot while it's cooking, for goodness sake. Also, no crocodile only 4 hours. Let the meat stand for at least 6-8-12 hours, depending on the conditions. If you can't wait even 6 hours for a crocodile, you need to get yourself an InstaPot, or worse, a microwave, like a hyperactive little kid ignorant of life's patience and impeccable gastronomic excellence that comes from this exercise in caution .

Pros
  • Small round slow cooker for party sauces and more
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
