The product is made in China. Comes in a flat box, assembly required. The panels are thin and look like lightweight balsa. Very easy to assemble. Unfortunately, some holes were overdrilled and the screws were not properly tightened. The description says that this box can store up to tp(75) entries. My box was exhausted (60). Maybe you can drive a few more pieces in there with some oil and a rubber mallet. Low quality for the price. Wouldn't buy again.

In general, this is a good basket for storing vinyl records, but it has a few drawbacks. I love that it's made of wood and can be painted if I want. What I don't like about it: 1. Due to the open slats on the sides, records can easily hit when stowed away. For now I lined the side with cardboard so everything goes smoothly and they don't get damaged. 2. As much as I love the Beatles, I wish I had chosen one of the other models that was sanded and varnished. I chose an unpainted drawer as the natural color suits my system and space, but since the drawer has not been painted (or sanded) it is full of shards.
