Stay Away!: Portable Audio Video

This is the worst radio I have ever used. The AM sound was lousy, no shortwave at all! Cheap feels like garbage! Why would you do such inferior crap anyway!

Pros
  • Retro Tape Recorder with AM/FM Radio and Dual HF Radio
Cons
  • No Paint Required

Nice retro radio! in Portable Audio & Video

Love the look! It looks like a real radio I had in the 1980's. 110 VAC batteries or D-cells. USB works fine. The band also plays very well. All plastic on the outside and handles - but holds up ok - but not much runtime. Worth the price! Give him a chance!

Pros
  • Mains or battery operated plus headphone jack for private listening
Cons
  • Inconvenient

Difficulty loading cassette

This unit works well enough for my purposes. In most cases, however, the tape is difficult to insert. It's like the holder isn't deep enough and I have to gently press on the tape to insert the tape when closing the door.

Pros
  • Included components: Ct100B Cassette Player, Power Cord, User Manual, Warranty Card
Cons
  • Approximately

Quality Good sound for portable AV devices

Looks good and has better sound. It's just the right size for my dressing room. It fits on the side of the sink I rarely use and is the best place for me to hear it while doing laundry etc. I listen to all the songs that I dance to and sing along to. which takes longer but I'm having so much fun. I only listen to the radio for what I brought it with me. Eventually I'll get to the other springs.

Pros
  • Play your favorite music from a flash drive or SD card
Cons
  • Some problems

Very Bad AM/MW: Personal Radios

DEFECTIVE. If you listen to AM/WM radio, stay away from this thing. It has more internal (DSP) noise than any radio I've ever held in my hands. Even with fairly strong stations. works as it should, but when you press the << or >> button, the title is not played, but simply jumped to the previous or next title. However, it "remembers" where you left off, so it resumes from there instead of looping back to the beginning of the track. FM is just as good as any other DSP radio (yes, of…

Pros
  • Built-in Bluetooth receiver allows digital music streaming via CT100
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Looks good, but that's all.

I've been looking for a portable tape recorder/radio boombox for a while and came across this Crosley model that looked realistic like an old classic player. dad obsessed. I immediately fell in love with the retro design and had high hopes for it (even bought some new straps to try). Well I should have known better, as is the case with most Crosley products, good looks are all you get. Closer inspection revealed an inferior design, ranging from a cheap plastic body to curved springs in the…

Pros
  • Use the recording function and the built-in microphone to personalize your mixes. Auto Stop Cassette
Cons
  • Volume
