Cross Stitch Bookmark Hogwarts Express Review

Love this set! This company makes great bookmarks and I've bought tons of them because they're so easy and fun to make. This set is no exception. I loved the layered seams that give the illusion of depth and it turned out beautifully. If you need help with any aspect of the design, simply scan the QR code in the guide and you will be taken to a website that will walk you through the step-by-step process of creating a bookmark. This is super helpful!

I enjoyed making this bookmark. This was my first cross stitch project. I've seen several tutorials so I had a rough idea of what to do. The instructions are a little rough and confusing so I'm not sure who that is for a true beginner. I particularly appreciate the extra thread that comes with it. As my first project, I made a number of mistakes. I will add my own design to the back of the bookmark - I like having a blank canvas to add my own touch.

I love this pattern, it's really cute and easy for beginners. Good quality threads and Aida included. I will definitely be saving this template to recreate this bookmark in the future! However, the instructions for completing the bookmark (stapling) is very limited and confusing. I still haven't figured out how to do that. While the rest of the project is easy, this part is tricky if you don't already know how.
