Works well and looks like it was made by a professional. I used a small brush and covered the entire top and sides of the chimney cap. I filled some cracks with chimney mortar and plastered after the mortar had dried. Looks great and is easy to apply. The hardest part is getting around the front of the chimney without falling off the roof!

This is an expensive product but it works!. I went to Utube to see how to apply it and it's easy. I applied it to the top of the chimney and the leaks stopped for many years but they came back. I called a chimney sweep for help and he recommended fitting the same crown coat about a foot to the sides of the top of the chimney. I did it and no more leaks.

I had a chimney cap that was starting to get small cracks and I didn't want to risk a water damage problem so I applied this product to the cap. It's been a year now and not only has it sealed really well, it looks like I just put it on. There are no signs of wear, peelings or peelings! I highly recommend this product. It's expensive, but try replacing your chimney cap instead!
