Excellent memory module

Purchased for Acer Aspire One. Memory expansion from 1 GB to 2 GB. Slightly surprised as I expected to notice a small difference in performance. There is a small difference, but it is very small. As for SODIMM, it works fine. I would buy it again without hesitation. Although I haven't used this netbook yet, it works 100%. I should mention that the netbook was/was my daughter. Now she has a tablet that she uses instead of a netbook. I'll restart the netbook and hopefully see the performance…

Perfect fit for Asus Eee PC 1000/Linux

I have a 10" ASUS Eee PC 1000 netbook (1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 1 GB RAM, 40 GB SSD, 20 GB Eee memory, Linux, 6-cell battery) Pearl white About half an hour ago this memory card for a Crucial 2GB 667Mhz CT25664AC667 DDR2 200-pin SODIMM laptop arrived in the mail.I opened the small plastic cover on the bottom of my computer and removed, released the latches that held the original 1GB memory card in place (when you release the latches the card pops out for easy removal), replaced the…

Hello! My neighbor has a steady income and can't afford to spend $1,800 on a new iMac, so I suggested upgrading it. her memory so she can upgrade her 2006 Tiger car to a Lion. Although Apple's manual said it could only hold 3GB, there were two slots and I bought a Crucial DDR2 667MHz chip and removed the two 500MB Apple chips that came with your original purchase. Since it worked perfectly I went back online and Revain had the best price and fastest shipping which saved me $8 on shipping and…

Upgrade your Eee PC 900

Use this to maximize RAM on the EeePC 900. Working with 4GB increased its ability to use Firefox from almost impossible to not very good, which is actually a huge improvement over a ten-year-old computer. As with most laptops I've worked with, installation was very easy: just open the case and plug in the joystick. (Turn off the power, of course). An old, low-power laptop is less slow and unstable. It's still slow and unstable, but noticeably smaller. Enjoy!

Works great so far on my Compaq c500

My RAM only lasts a few hours but so far it's working fine. There was one thing that made me question whether or not the ram really mattered, and it was the chips on the stick that said Qimonda on it. I went to the Crucial website and started a chat with a tech and was told my RAM is fine. So I was happy about that. The packaging was well done and the wand arrived even earlier. So today I need to place two new things on my laptop. Actually, that's all I can say on the subject. It works as it…

Improved PC performance

The product was well packaged. Be sure to follow the two-step guide; ie, turn off the computer, unplug the power cord, and use a wrist strap to prevent ESD damage to memory. The memory was easy to install in my Acer AspireOne. When checking in the BIOS, I recognized 2GB of memory. PC works much better. The small investment in this upgrade is definitely worth it.

Pros
  • Excellent design

  • Negative impression

Repurpose your netbook.

DDR2 667MHz (pc2-5300) is what most second generation netbooks require. I wanted a good brand. Crucial works just like Kingston and Samsung. No A technique. I turned on my eeepc 901 and now I can actually use it for server functions. I understand that Atom processors are not very powerful, but you have to think about it. that you can get away with them first in the app to see their potential. I can run a Quake 3 server, I can run Quake 3 on medium settings, I can surf the web, watch HD videos…

Worked on max old laptop

I've used a couple of these to max an old XP laptop so it only sees 3GB but I did it for dual channel parity. I know most computer memory works fine and I've used many brands over the years. I like to only deal with one brand when pairing storage and when I think I might need bad stick support and I don't have extra features like in the past and flash drives need the exact same specs for Multi-channel support, and I've never had a bad Crucial flash drive.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Blunt hardware

What I need for my Lenovo Z61t laptop

If you are not sure what memory is installed in your computer, [.] offers a "Memory Advisor" to let you know. Very easy to use. Memory upgrades are the cheapest and quickest way to improve your laptop's performance. I had 1GB of RAM installed and the maximum Windows XP Home recognizes is 3GB. After a bit of research I found that I didn't need to install matching pairs and I was able to install a 2GB memory chip and leave the existing 1GB chip to make the most of the memory. Installing the…
