Crucial Vacuum Replacement Hoover Bags - Type Y Model Compatible - Bulk (9 Pack) Review

Looks and feels high quality from the start. No smell of vacuum cleaner at all. I've always smelled a bit of dust from vacuuming, but NOT with this bag. Nice tight fit on a vacuum cleaner. They are cheaper than Hoover Y bags but better than other 3rd party bags AND Hoover bags. Impressive and quite cheap. A real winner, I will buy them again.

Just ordered one pack to see what the bags would look like. 2 cloth bags came with my vacuum and I looked at a local shop but couldn't find any replacement cloth bags. I love these bags, they fit snugly and even have a glue tab to seal the bag's opening when you take the used bag out of the vacuum. I will be ordering more of these now knowing they are well made and thick.

These bags were great except after using my 2nd bag my Hoover motor froze and I had to buy a new vacuum. My new vacuum is now called Kirby just because I've always wanted one. Hoover's wind tunnel bags were made of fabric and that's what drew my attention to them. Because it is made of fabric, there is not as much dust when changing the bag as with paper bags. These bags will not disappoint you.

I bought these from Crucial Vacuums because it was a good price for cloth bags and reviews confirmed they were cloth bags. My previous bags were made from OEM fabric. The version I got from Crucial was a nice stack of paper bags (though overpriced now). Good quality paper if I wanted the paper and paid for it. Buyer Warning.

Not sure what I received, they say Y everywhere but they definitely are no Y pockets . They are about 30cm wide and you can't put them in a vacuum cleaner. Y bags are approximately six inches wide. nothing opened, put back in bag and sent back. I also noticed that other reviews say the same thing

Although cheap, they lack the resilient plastic gasket material around the bag inlet. This allows dirt and pollen to seep around the intake pipe and back into the house. HEPA filtration is only as good as the seam integrity. You can also just use a non-HEPA filter. Either that, or you'll need to seal the area around the filter inlet tube somehow.

I am the queen of vacuums. I have five vacuums now, but I hate vacuuming. These are the best high performance vacuum bags I have ever used. My current favorite vacuum cleaner is the Hoover Tempo. It's much lighter than a wind tunnel. These bags seem a little too wide, but when you roll them up a little, they're great. Nothing flows from them. In the evening I will buy more, they suddenly stopped.

I find that the quality of the filter material is in no way inferior to well-known brands. But the shape and size is not the same as the Hoover Y bag. They are definitely wider and shorter than the original Y-bags. A better statement would be "Fits Hoover Y Bag Outlet" since the mounting box has the same hole diameter. The bag also lacks the OE plastic liner which sits opposite the outlet and can absorb/repel what is sucked in and could puncture the bag (although unlikely as it is not a…
