works perfectly, but since it's in the left corner of the .

works great but since it is in the left corner of the jeep you see the viewing angle and completely miss the right side. good for general checking of traffic, people and things. not for accurate backup.

Pros
  • Stable Test Results
Cons
  • Minor Issues

With my 2012 JKU

Installation is quite simple. If you are using a factory head unit, the dealer will have to "flash" it to make it work. As others have said, visibility is a bit limited due to location, but still very useful when reversing.

Pros
  • it worked without any problems. Several competitors

I will change this attitude soon.

Everything OK. Due to the position on the label, only the driver's side is visible. If you're looking to add a backup camera to your Jeep, I would recommend using a small circle camera that you can place in your bumper above it. This is the setup I will be switching to soon.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Don't waste your time

The cheap plastic case hardly fits in the license plate frame. And the tabs holding the camera/light broke after a few months. That seems like a good idea. But the rear view of the car is shifted too far towards the driver. And the block itself is garbage. The camera is functional. But it's useless without the proper attachment.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • cable is shorter than other picks.

Perfect fit for Jeep Wrangler with Plug & Play function.

Perfect for Jeep Wrangler Plug and Play Make Sure You Have PAC CHYRVD Wiring Harness Rear Video Cable for Some Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep 2008-2012C2G /Cables To Go 29507 75- OHM RCA video coupler and flash your Jeep radio at the dealer. It cost me less than $100 to get the backup camera, I've seen $500 to $1000.

Pros
  • Elegant Design
Cons
  • Almost Everything is OK

A lot of headache until you find out

I was very disappointed it took me 2 weeks to find out the reason they don't have redundant lines in their video is because that the camera does not work It works with the UConnect 430N radio unit in jeeps with their inclusion. Cut the white wire and save the headache slot. UPDATE: The camera stopped working 3 months ago, nothing just stopped working. Was exchanged for another camera from another manufacturer and works perfectly. Glad I didn't pay

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
