Description of 🔮 Versatile Crystal Molds: Resin Silicone for Gemstone Isomalt, Cake Decoration, Casting Epoxy Resin, Polymer Clay, Crystal Soap

MULTIPURPOSE - the crystal molds are so versatile in its usage! perfect for making resin crystals, isomalt or sugar edible geodes for cupcake toppers and cake decorations, chocolate candy baking, crystal jewelry making projects, liquid clay DIY crafting, cystal soaps, candles etc. QUALITY MATERIAL - the isomalt molds are made out of food grade soft and squishy silicone, resistance to temperature -40-220 degree centigrade, non toxic, safe and durable to use. MEASUREMENTS - The tallest geode mold approx 3.54*3.15", the second-tallest resin mold approx 2.36*2.36", the third one approx 1.97*2.36", the smallest approx 1.38*2.64". EASY TO RELEASE - The flexible resin silicone mold is pretty easy to remove. After it cures completely you just simply push out from the bottom, very easy to use; and you can also cut one side of the molds before using them which help to release the geode after they form. WARM TIPS: when you are using isomalt, please heat a paring knife with torch lighter, then slide on edge of isomalt crystals, it will get rid of bubbles and bring back the shine of the isomalt. (be careful not to burn your hands).

Great for beginners

This was my first time using Isomalt and every time every shape came out perfect so I was impressed. None broke at 12. I found the most realistic looking crystals were when I added the darkest color to the tips of the crystals and then gradually added Clear, mixing and pouring 5-7 coats until the base was 100% clear . (Look at the top crystal on my cake)

Really pleasantly surprised

TLDR: excellent customer service and good molds for each material. Using resin Got 2 identical crystals EDIT: Seller sent me a new set of all 4 shapes! Excellent customer service! Thanks very much! Finally got to the forms. I knew right away that I wasn't going to get a glossy finish on my resin, so I postponed them until I was ready to finish them. I had residual resin, I used it and was pleasantly surprised. They need very little cleaning and are perfect for my ideas that need a top coat…

The mold has flaws and does not shine at all!

If you're going to make resin sculptures with these molds, don't expect them to be shiny. The molds are very rough on the inside and leave unwanted marks. To top it off these are crystal shapes, they should be as shiny as possible. At $25, having to sand my work and then pay the extra cost and hassle of adding a shiny material on top isn't worth it to me. I wish I could try them before the return period was up, but I didn't try them until recently and it was very disappointing.
