DO NOT BUY THIS TRIPOD

This tripod fell apart on first use. During installation, the leg slipped and parts of the plastic fell out. Now the leg won't attach, so I have a completely useless $150 tripod that fell apart immediately. This tripod is garbage.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Some bugs

Compact, lightweight, easy to use.

I was looking for a tripod that would easily fit in my bag. It's really small and light, so I don't think twice about taking it with me or not. Folds and unfolds very quickly. The ball head is stable and comfortable to use. The only drawback is that it is not stable enough in strong winds - but that can be forgiven with a compact tripod.

Pros
  • Few competitors

  • Problems

The perfect all-round travel tripod!

I love the portability and all the features of this tripod. Big enough for comfy use (mine is 5ft 7in), folds down to a comfy 12in, perfect for tucking a water bottle holder in your backpack or tying it to the bottom so it doesn't dangle or bang on objects. Transforms into a monopod / selfie stick!

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

A must have for travel photographers/videographers

The best travel trip money can buy. It is very, very light but stable, can be folded and unfolded quickly and has a very good build quality. I am very happy with this purchase. When I was looking for tripods I almost bought a Manfrotto but found this one and I'm going with it because of the price and the reviews. It was the best decision I've made.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Somewhat worn

Great solution for travel and hiking!

Wow! This is the winner. Meets all my light travel needs and is very compact yet stable. Super flexible legs for photography from almost any angle. The ball head is very smooth with separate knobs for swiveling and locking the ball. When the ball is blocked I don't see the rush. Very strong, although the ball is small, as is the case with travel tripods. It holds a Fuji XH1 at 16-55/2.8 with no problems, about 3 pounds. I highly recommend it!

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some problems

Light and flimsy

Unit too short to pack on back and relatively light but >ball head fell off and disintegrated when adjusted, light tripod is not very strong when extended to full height.> Legs easily move out of position or collapse when used outdoors. > The legs must be overtightened or they will collapse [shorten] during use. > Multiple attempts to contact the supplier as suggested only with a constantly overflowing phone message preventing leaving a message. Wouldn't buy from his seller again…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

I had to measure the height of this tripod before purchasing. It's too small for what I want to do. It's lightweight, easy to carry and comes with a nice pouch. The ball head didn't work well for me though. I just bought a lightweight Sony camera so weight wasn't an issue. As I moved my head from landscape to portrait, the camera's platen weakened. No matter how hard I tightened it, it still worked loose, causing the camera to "drift" a bit when taking pictures. This meant blurry photos. I am…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Minor issues

Too many problems for the price.

I am very dissatisfied with this tripod. Too short, I should have paid more attention to the height. But mostly completely unstable. The button for fixing the camera keeps loosening, I can't find a way to tighten the head either, it takes forever to find the right position. The legs are difficult to adjust once you have them attached, difficult to adjust so they don't move, they keep slipping out. I suspect it has something to do with the little clips above, but I can't figure out how to get…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
