Purchased to work with a BMW valve cover but the hex portion of the socket only protrudes about 1" into the end of the socket. He couldn't reach the bolt to get to the hex portion of the bolt. These are the only screwdrivers used to remove the rear bumper on many new cars today can. I work as a technician and from time to time I have to remove the rear bumper. Without them, it's *&^%$ to get rid of the nuts. The nut is very deep in the rear bumper stay housing and there is nothing deep enough to remove it unless you have a special flexible socket, an extended wrench. That doesn't mean it always works. These bad boys are no problem at all. Cheap enough to make the job a lot easier.
