Failed Expectations, Poor Quality

My analysis of this oxygen sensor remover showed that it was difficult to use and felt cheaply made. The grips were not comfortable and the tool often slipped off the sensor. However it did successfully remove the oxygen sensor from my car..

Also note that this is probably closer to 23mm as there is a large gap between them.

I purchased this tool elsewhere but it is exactly the same tool as pictured here, dimensions, markings, layout etc. Today I attempted to remove the upstream oxygen sensor on a 2005 Hyundai Tucson. ( slightly warmed up the engine and used the PB blaster) and with little effort the tool opened up and rounded the edges of the O2 sensor which should now make it twice as difficult to remove. Stay away from that plug, it's cheap pot metal that's not hardened at all. Also note that it's probably…
