Description of CTA Tools 5044 Truck Socket

Designed to fit the slotted adjusting screw on tapered king pins found on most Mack front axles. Applications: 12, 000lbs, 16, 000lbs, 18, 000lbs & 20, 000lbs Axles. This new cross design of king pin caps are designed to reduce the camming or walking action caused by other methods. Visit ctatools for application details. Use with a 1/2" square drive ratchet or breaker bar to safely remove the pin.

If you need to make Mack kingpins, buy them

after a 50 year old large tow hitch broke pulling it halfway due to bad threads. got the nut the next day and worked great with a 3/4 ratchet with adapter. large outlet
