MityVac Vacuum Bleed and Test Kit by CTA Tools: Efficient Solution for Automotive Vacuum Systems Review

It works great, no leaks like others I've found. I used this to fix a vacuum leak that was causing the check engine light - fixed. This works well for 'lone man' brake bleeds as the hose is free and you can watch the bubbles exit the caliper bleed screw into the line. Same goes for changing brake fluid - you can see when all the old fluid is gone and you're sucking clean fluid through the hose.

I bought this MityVac to bleed the fuel lines in my diesel VW after replacing the injector kit. I was easy to use and had all the details I needed. It only took me a minute to put everything back together properly and I was able to drain the water from the system and the car started right away. I thought I would use it for a lot of other things in the garage but nothing really came out. I like this tool and it's well built, I just don't have many uses.

I received the MityVac on time and in good condition. The instructions were very easy to read and use. I used it to bleed the brakes and check for vacuum leaks. It worked perfectly. I highly recommend it. The only problem with this was getting a good seal on the bleed bottle. This was easily overcome by applying some petroleum jelly to the rim of the bottle, which is fairly common.
