Accurate Feeler, Ideal for Industrial Use

This tool was a lifesaver when measuring tolerances on a complicated machine project. The accuracy of the measurements was spot-on, and the durability of the tool makes it a good investment for industrial and scientific use. The only downside was the initial cost of the tool, but the long-term benefits outweigh the expense.

Pros
  • The CTA Tools A311 25 Blade Feeler provides a wide range of blade sizes, making it versatile for various applications.
Cons
  • The blades may be prone to bending or breaking if excessive force is applied during use.

Worked on my Element

I bought this to adjust the valve on my 2005 Honda Element. I had never made these before so I didn't know what to look for in terms of quality and I used .08 and .12 for the valves. The first time I didn't know how to set the valves but the second time I got the spec right I feel and feel like the gauges did a really good job of helping me with that.

Pros
  • CTA Tools offer one of the widest ranges of professional specialty tools on the market
Cons
  • No Automatic

Not bad but not as accurate as I would like

Very oily when they arrived. Put them on my bench and I'll get a nice oil stain on my tree. I had to loosen the screw, remove each probe and wipe them with a paper towel. Good for transport and protection, but not very good for woodworking. I have some doubts about the accuracy of the probes. I used my digital calipers to test them and some of them were accurate and others were a little off. I've tried several combinations of blades to get a decent thickness and sometimes tricked the caliper…

Pros
  • Set contains 25 12 inch blades
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
