Very satisfied so far.: Powerline power packs

I can't say anything about the weather protection because it hasn't rained since I installed this device, but the weather protection connections seem to me to be physically well designed to the extent that the functionality of the To improve splitters I now have an outdoor wireless access point and camera that is fed back to the network through this splitter in one line via a Cudy 60W PoE injector. So far very satisfied.

Pros
  • Super for me
Cons
  • Can hurt

Mine didn't work. fits Powerline network adapter

That was a great idea. I had to use it as a splitter in a forest where there was no space (like a barn) to protect the connections from bad weather. Unfortunately, after we had placed all the Cat6s, there was no handshake.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • No instructions

Not waterproof for me

It can withstand a light rain shower, but there was water in it after a heavy rain shower. The connectors appear to be much better waterproof than the case itself. Also, the lack of connection status LEDs requires more effort to verify connectivity.

Pros
  • practical thing
Cons
  • embarrassing

So far very satisfied. About AC Adapters

Can't comment on weather resistance as it hasn't rained since this unit was installed, but the weatherproof connectors appear to be physically well constructed. Regarding the splitter functionality, I now have an outdoor wireless access point and camera connected through this splitter with a line back to the network via a Cudy 60W PoE injector. So far very satisfied.

Pros
  • Powerline AC Adapters
Cons
  • No

Is working! I just wish it had status indicators.

So I did a pretty strenuous performance test by taking a full roll of CAT 6 solid copper with a reinforced POE switch and placing it at the end. At first I was very impressed with the switch I used so I could turn on the camera at the end of the reel to start with actually good quality video. At 1000 feet (304.8m) we're more than three times the CAT 6 length limit. I'm not chasing gigabit speeds, of course, but still. Anyway, I added this extension and an additional camera along with the first…

Pros
  • Computers and accessories
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
