Best Pans Ever - Kitchen and Dining

Without a doubt, the best pans ever! Just remember to hand wash so the non-stick coating will last. They cook amazingly well over medium heat, and then you reduce the heat and continue cooking over medium to medium heat. My daughter and I love these pans so much we cook almost every day now! A drop of washing-up liquid is enough for washing, and everything is erased. You will not regret buying the Tjis set. And, oh, when you're told these 13 are real pots, pans, and lids, not spatulas or other…

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Infuriates

Dangerous - the surface comes off the food!

Dangerous product. Do not buy. I've been using this set for less than a year. I made eggs this morning and found a lot of spots in the eggs. It turns out that the properties are the pan's non-stick surface. If I hadn't noticed the black dots I would have literally eaten the inside of the pan. I can't imagine how many times I've done this. In addition, the edges are chipped and the pans are blunt. I have followed all the cleaning instructions and using the correct utensils. This is a very…

Hands dangerously hot!

Bought a nice 13 piece Cuisinart 64-13 Contour Hard Anodized Cookware Set; However, neither my family nor I know that handles on lids and pots (NOT pans) scald and get dangerously hot! How can it be? Is that a design flaw? Unfortunately I cannot recommend this product as the handles get very hot. We have a gas stove, maybe that's part of the problem too. However, I would certainly expect such a product, made by a respected company like Cuisinart, to be tested and considered for a hot-handle…

Looks great! for crockery sets

This set is simply adorable! And so far I enjoy using it. The reason for the four stars is twofold. The set does not include a 3.5 liter saucepan and a lid for the smallest pan. While this may be fine for some people and they are not promised with the set, I miss them from my old Cuisinart set. I had to buy them individually and they are much more expensive than buying them as a set. Another reason for the four-star rating is that the outer coating scratches extremely easily. We usually wash…

Don't think they're real

I've had Cuisinart hard anodized pots and pans since I got them for my wedding 6 years ago and they're finally showing wear on the non-stick coating. Some show swirls but the coating is intact, while other more commonly used pans have nicks in the non-stick coating, but it's a few millimeters thick and won't flake off. I have used the medium pot ONCE to cook rice. Literally just water, salt and rice, and when I tried to scrub it with a non-abrasive sponge the entire inside outline seemed uneven

  • Feel good

Ol Reliable! good for cookware sets

I can't express how much I love this set. I did some research and bought these from the store as my first new cookware set after my wedding. I didn't have a dishwasher back then, so I didn't always wash by hand. About a year later I got lazy and started using metal utensils on it. They lasted over 5 more years before the non-stick coating really started to scratch. I loved her. Then I decided to try the whole nonstick ceramic fashion with a set from Cooksmark. I couldn't be more disappointed…
