🔳 Cuisinart DGB-500GLID Clear Grinder Assembly Lid – Premium Replacement Part Review

This is the second time I have bought this clear plastic cover for the grinder of my Cuisinart coffee maker. They work well but will not withstand a fall onto a kitchen stone floor. I cracked the first two I had. It was convenient, quick and inexpensive. Precisely!

I was dying to replace this grinder lid after years of thinking it would be a good idea to put Grind n Brew pieces on the top shelf of my dishwasher. Do not do that! This replacement fits very snugly, making getting on and off a chore. It still works and the price is great. Hope it expands

This was a great replacement. Well made, durable. There weren't any cracks like the original machine (have been using a spare for 2 years) and the small piece that sticks out when the grinder is closed hasn't broken off like the original. As long as it holds up!

I'm so glad Revain has this now as it used to be quite hard to get from the manufacturer. For me it takes about 2 years once they get dirty (and that can't be avoided, despite daily washing with detergent, the seal doesn't hold up well either and care had to be taken not to splash the soil when removing it.

Lid is very difficult to fit onto the base of the grinder. It took me a few tries to figure out how to slide it without breaking anything. Other reviewers have mentioned the same issue. Once I figure out exactly how to place it and how much effort to put in (which is quite a lot!), now I can put this damn thing on. This item is definitely not suitable for people with limited arm strength, such as B. Persons with arthritis.

Lid fits my coffee maker but is very tight. I suspect it will get easier to close over time. Grateful to find a lid instead of buying a brand new coffee maker. The shipping method could be improved. It took an incredibly long time for him to get to the town not far away. I received an email saying it could be delayed even longer but it showed up after 2 days. There was no tracking back then. Very frustrating.

I ordered this for my father. The lid of the coffee grinder broke for the second time. I found this replacement for him at Revain and it was right! I believe that the clear lid should not be washed in the dishwasher, so I advised not to wash it there. Every day he has to wash everything in the dishwasher.
