Cuisinart Mini-Prep DLC-1 Replacement Work Bowl with Cover Review

Although the box says DLC-1, this does NOT match my DLC-1! I'm beside myself with anger. And I can't return it because it's over 30 days. This is VERY frustrating when I read the product description to make sure I'm buying the correct replacement bowl for my Cuisinart DLC-1 Mini Processor.

I inherited a mini food processor from my grandmother. The bowl broke and I didn't like the idea of throwing away the processor. I searched Revain and couldn't believe there was a spare bowl. It fits perfectly. I realized I could buy a new one for a little more than a bowl. But sentimental reasons kept me from it.

I was afraid that one of these parts would cost almost the purchase price so I didn't use it for years. In the end I decided to throw the part away or replace it. It was only 1/3 of what I paid for the car so it's definitely worth replacing. I wish I had done that sooner. I made sure it was compatible with the original before ordering.

My son broke the small plastic bowl on the Cuisinart food processor. I almost bought a new one then found a replacement part on Cuisinart's website. Checked out Revain and Bingo! Same product, slightly cheaper, delivered faster. The item was securely packaged and fits perfectly! Perfect. Less than half what replaces an entire small food processor and works just as well as ever.

This is the wrong size for my mini chopper although I ordered one for the model I have. has since been updated. I can't put the lid on my machine properly and I can't turn it on properly. However, it works well if I place the handle of the spoon in the area containing the chopper and hold the top with my hand.

Bowl and lid are fine, but do not fit my Cuisinart Mini-Prep DLC-1 Kit. at least two versions of DLC-1. There should be a note in the description that this bowl/lid will not work with all DLC-1 models. look at my photos This bowl has two small protrusions on the bottom that fit into the notches on the mini-prep. My DLC-1 has three large cutouts and a smaller one on the front. If your DLC-1 looks like mine. Will not work.
