The blender is good and seems to work reasonably well. I'm not comfortable with the beater trigger as that's where I put my hand when mixing anything other than the default hold. The slowest spin is slightly faster, so care must be taken when beginning to mix flour-based mixtures. In general, the mixer is still quite powerful, it did not slow down at all, although I did not do any serious tasks for it.
