Great for RVs. for kitchen and dining room

Excellent product. We installed it on a new worktop in our caravan to replace the gas range. Works perfectly!. Heats up quickly.

The timer does not work for table burners

The timer does not work. If you set a timer, it will not turn itself off. You have to disable it manually. Otherwise it's fine

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Retrofittable

A burner stopped working after a few months!

Big Burner stopped working a month after ownership. For no apparent reason, it just stopped working. Before that it was great and we loved it. I can't contact Cuisinart to find out, but according to the instructions we have to pay for shipping and handling to send it back and get a new hob. Overall, I can't recommend anything that just stops working for no reason, then you should replace it. After all, this burner costs us close to $200 to get a second "fixed" one, so just fire up a bullet and…

but I am very disappointed that I cannot use them together

The second burner on this hob has failed about 3 months after receipt. The warranty required me to pay shipping to replace it with a Cuisinart, which cost over $60. The new hob gave the same error as the original when using both hotplates at the same time (the second hotplate switches off and displays an error code). At the moment I only use one burner at a time and it seems fine, but I'm very frustrated that I can't use both together. Otherwise, I'm a big fan of induction cookers - they heat…

Only lasted a year, with 3 times a week, slow boiling water.

I bought this on 08/13/16 and today it just died. both burners. I thought for the price it should have lasted longer. Also, since the power is shared between both burners, you can't use just one burner at full power, which is much slower when boiling water for pasta, soup, etc. I wouldn't buy it again. I've used it about 3 times a week for the year I've had it. I've had other single burner induction cooktops and they boil water quickly. I will buy another burner (Secura) that I had before and…

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME

What's not to like? My first experience with double induction and I like it very much: apart from the stovetop, the surface of the device does not heat up. The cooking time has been significantly reduced. In fact, I'm considering replacing my 4 burner hob and going with this 2 burner hob. It has a large burner and a small burner, which is enough for me for everyday cooking. Disclosure: I'm single and tend to cook in large batches: I cook 16 cups of brown rice in a large pot and freeze it in…

Excellent customer service

I purchased this stove for use in my newly renovated kitchen in my basement. I liked the auto shut off features for safety, clean lines, ease of use and cleaning. I had it a few months before renting an apartment and then the renter told me the right hand burner wasn't working. I called Cuisinart customer service who were a pleasure to work with! He asked me a few basic questions, apologized for the issues I was having with him, and then arranged for a replacement to be sent to me free of…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Empty

DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY!

Yes, I bought this product in December 2018 and bought induction cookware at the same time. I bought this because of the good reviews on SEVERAL sites. This has been my only hob (I live in my 5 wheel trailer) since I bought it. I loved it to this day! Today, 3 months after purchase, both burners stopped working. I have checked several sockets, my switches, everything electrical in this caravan with no success! And when looking for the device itself, there is no reset button! I have never left…

Learn more about benchtop burners

For three months, the fan was making a terrible noise even when not in use. I contacted the company that issued the "extended warranty" on Revain and was informed that it was still covered under the manufacturer's warranty. So I contacted the manufacturer. They said they wanted the serial number on the bottom (although I turned it around, used a magnifying glass and a flashlight, no trace of the serial number (would it be nice if you could give me an idea where to find it?). , they wanted all…
