🍹 Cuisinart SPB-650 1 HP Silver Blender, 7.8 x 10 x 13.6 inches Review

I usually use this a few times a week to make smoothies. After only 2 months of use, the screw holding the blades broke and the blades popped out during use! There seem to be many reviews mentioning this, buyers beware.

I've been using my new smoothie blender and it leaked a lot. I thought it wasn't screwed on tight enough but the second time the same thing happened. It came assembled and I suspect the rubber seal may be misplaced but not removable.

I used it about 5 times. It works well in protein smoothies which is why I bought it. It's quite noisy in the highs, but now I only need low speeds. Easy to clean with soap and water on low speed, then dry with a paper towel. I love the white design as it suits my kitchen.

Blender broke down after only 10 months, still under warranty, called support and found out I had to send the product to Arizona for repair (no service center in all of Illinois), at my expense ($50 plus US$ for return shipping) and waiting 3 weeks to get it back. Not worth it, I'm thinking about buying a new one, cheaper but more durable.

I used this machine for smoothies every day. The first one I bought lasted a couple of months and then the spinning black part of the blender fell off so I bought a new one thinking it must have been because I put too much fruit in the smoothie. The same black part that turns the blades broke off after a month. So it wasn't me, these machines are broken and short-lived. The machine is also terribly noisy, more so than other blenders I've had.

Can't upload photos from your iPhone? Plastic sleeve with brass insert fell apart after 2 months. I have to pay to send it back to Cuisinart for repair and pay for return shipping. I used a blender every day, now what? Cuisinart said repairs would take 3 to 5 weeks. There is no mention of this vulnerability in Cuisinart's literature or how to fix it at home. We ordered this less than a month ago because we drink smoothies every day and it has a "smoothie" function. Something went very wrong this morning. Just luckily I checked it out before we drank it because the screw and one of the blades came loose and ended up in the drink!
