Falls apart with coffee, tea and espresso

Used it 5 or 6 times just to make sure I was giving it a good trial period. Outside looks good, inside is not stainless steel. After the fourth use, the washer and metal piece came loose and the pot hasn't worked like it used to since. I will most likely return it for an exchange. I will contact the company.

Pros
  • Yummy
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Mild taste in kitchen and dining room

Very mild taste and creamy texture. We tried two moka pots, the original one made of aluminum and this one made of stainless steel. The same coffee is used. The same coffee and water measures are used. This pot produced a much smoother coffee aroma and a less acidic taste. I love this pot. Keep in mind that shipping is international and takes about three weeks without route updates. This moka pot is worth the wait.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Defective

No better than cheaper competitors

I have been using Bialetti Moka Express for many years and the coffee taste is comparable. I also have another cheaper 6 cup stainless steel mug that is widely available at Revain under various brands. The processing of this Cuisinox is no better than my cheaper pan with a very thin metal wall. This mocha pot is also made in China. Both the top and the bottom are not made of polished stainless steel on the inside like the outside, but matt gray. The top cover hinge is made of thin metal…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Write again later

Made first coffee break, washed parts, dried parts, checked parts. I noticed that the water tank (at the crease where the flat bottom meets the curved sidewall and just below the pressure relief valve) had a burn mark with rust growing around it. I returned it because it was evident that they did not control the thickness process of their coatings and I could see things deteriorating over time in both tanks that the coating was used in. Bought another brand uncoated in the water tank or coffee…
