Cuisinox Double Walled Hammered Chiller Review

I'm a little disappointed with the quality of the insulation: the wine doesn't really stay cool even when used indoors (at no more than 80F). .). It's also not very heavy, so can't keep wine cool at the expense of thermal mass like a pre-chilled stone wine cooler can. If you keep it in the freezer with about an inch of ice in the bottom it works a little better.

Haven't used it yet but someone else has tested the functionality and my comments are based on looks only. I paid VERY little for it, so I don't fret about it. But to me it doesn't look like the photo - it's not what the "chasing" looks like, it's more like perfectly spaced, identical dents, far apart. Very "artificially filled". Don't like it but it was cheap so come on! (Also the label in my photo shows a different brand but I actually ordered this Cuisinox forged coaster. I ordered 2 and 1…
