I was expecting them to feel a little more premium and be a little more polished. They look very matte and don't feel heavy "premium". I've also found that I'm not happy with the design where I have to look straight at the top of the container to see if there's salt or pepper, but that's my own fault.

I've destroyed quite a few salt and pepper shakers in the past because they weren't all stainless steel. These little guys are all stainless steel (except for the little rubber stopper at the bottom) and they've survived the treacherous heat of our stovetop. Shaker set looks good in the pictures but the finish is far from what is expected. The shakers are not the same height. The salt shaker is slightly higher than the pepper shaker. From the photos I've seen, this is not true. The logo on the salt shaker was printed in the wrong place. It is partially below and on the side. Nothing is exactly centered.
