🚰 Culligan RV EZ Change Filtration 3 Advanced EZC Series Review

Bought this to pack in our van before the trip. Unfortunately, we didn't drive off straight away and only found out on the way that the device was defective. 3 days have passed since the return deadline. I bought a replacement cartridge for the device and it works great. If you receive one, be sure to install and test it before the return period expires, as replacements are very expensive.

Water handling is great! But that's the only compliment. In my motorhome and then we drove cross country. Pull the hose into the hole. Well, in motorhomes everything wobbles, rattles and rolls. Not the best for this purpose. Called Culligan and they said matching hoses should have perfect 90 degree cuts. Well, those were factory cuts. Water is everywhere, and think what a tondo is next!

The filter that came with the kit is terrible. It has almost no flow; Filling the cup takes almost a minute. I have previously purchased this item with the EZ1 filter which obviously has less filtration but higher flow. I replaced it with an Amazon replacement EZ3 that was over twice the size of the canister and it solved my flow issues and seemed to improve the taste of the water too. I would recommend purchasing this item without a filter if possible and simply purchasing the filter…

Love the filter, water quality and easy access. Not keen on the faucet and actually used a different one (Watt) for my setup. It's also not clear how the "replace filter" light works - there are no comments in the instructions. The light is in the faucet and cannot see the actual filter, so a change can only be seen based on the volume of water or time. Very well thought out system. I particularly like the fact that I can easily remove the filter from the system when winterizing the van. With the system I had before, it always messed up the filter. Although the cabinet it is installed in is very small, the installation process was fairly easy and I didn't have to make many trips to the hardware store to get the missing parts. The filter is limited and the water flow is slower than before, but that is the price of a good low micron filter. It…
