Very stable and safe. It’s hard to put up for one person. Easier to take down. It has a very nice latch, but is dangerous for adults to step over at the top of the stairs because you can trip- it’s awkward. I would still purchase again because it’s a very safe gate and latches well. It looks nice also. Just hard to put up.

I purchased this for a wider entryway in my house at 52”. This fits perfectly in the space with an extra piece to spare if needed for Katherine entryways in the future. It was very easy to install even without receiving any type of instructions and super simple to use. Even my older children and older mother figured it out quickly.

Easy set up- do not cut gate band before installing- see instructions-makes it easier. Holding my two large goldens -even when jumping on it together. Holds well & sturdy. Looks good, too. Love the automatic close feature- both ways. Highly recommend.

Nice gate that works on a small opening. Adding the sections makes it weak at the connection point. I cranked the tension down as much as possible and as you can see in the video, the gate flexes when lightly pressed. There needs to be another bracket on the bottom like the top. Not going to risk it with my active toddler. This is a return.

We block off an area in the laundry room where I keep my cats litter box. Our dog kept trying to get at it, thinking it was a lunch box!Now the cat can jump the gate, and I don’t have to worry about the dog getting to it. The door on the gate is easy to use! For clean up! Thank you!Love it!

Easy to install, love the height, we have a German Sheppard mix dog and wanted something she couldn’t jump over which was sturdy. Great color as well.

Easy to install- searched endlessly for a gate for our living room, and this works great! Love that it stays open if we want; having to lift it while opening does make it a little hard for our 5 year old, but still a great fence!

My friend is very happy with this safety gate. Her little girl has just started walking and the gate is keeping her from harming herself on the stairs!

I tried the regalo gate but the ridiculous little plastic stopper locks on each side of door in the bottom was not useful and deterred is from opening the door either direction. The cumber one was much easier to install and use. The turnkey was super helpful and instructions were clear and concise. The additional wall stickers were a nice simple add-on. The lock design was the real win for me. It auto closing and being able to be partially opened is very convenient and having to lift the gate…

The gate is very sturdy. It uses pressure mounts so you can install it pretty much anywhere. We use some of the extension s so those work as well. If you open the gate90 degrees it remains open but if open it less than that it automatically shuts and latches, which is great because you don't have to fiddle with it.
