This filter costs about $35 for the entire assembly. If you go through Mopar and buy a Cummins filter without a housing, it will cost you close to $80. The whole assembly costs over $100. It's not without reason, you see!

I have installed 2 of these so far. Everyone says it's hard, but in reality it's just messy and time consuming. Also, it's a much cheaper filter than the OEM and comes pre-installed with the new WIF sensor. I will continue to buy as needed.

Filter fits perfectly I have removed and replaced the original factory filter which does not have a replaceable filter element, this went relatively well. I removed the inner fender liner, which isn't too hard as it's only held on by about 5 or 6 bolts, and then lifted the truck up so the wheel dangles freely and the suspension is fully extended. Great price and fast delivery. I'm not sure why the instructions for use were folded four times, then put under an o-ring, then vacuum sealed. Fortunately, the o-ring (albeit stretched) still fits properly in the o-ring groove. I'm deducting a star because of the packaging.

Product received fairly quickly. The hardest part of replacing it is to disconnect the connector from the sensor. I switched through the wheel arch. The fuel goes everywhere, suggest attaching a small hose to match the water drain and remove the filter slightly, not enough to release the fuel, but move the filter a little, connect the hose and loosen the water drain. The fuel comes out where you want it, not throughout the axle/engine compartment.

Great replacement for my 07 6.7 liter Cummins obsolete original filter. In contrast to my old filter housing, this one has a replaceable filter. I think the specs say it's a dual filter, 5 micron outer filter and 3 micron inner filter. The easiest replacement I've found is to remove the driver's side wheel and inner plastic fender and you have direct access to the filter housing.
