Cummins Onan Air Filter for my RV Generator. I read the reviews and questions before ordering this. Many said that the installation is difficult. Mine went in in about 15 seconds. Loosen the outer wing nut, remove the cover, loosen the inner wing nut, remove the dirty air filter, install a new one, and reverse the process. Be careful not to drop the wing nut into the fan mechanism.

The air filter is an important part of the Onan propane generator installed in the RV. So I decided to buy the factory recommended Onan filter. More expensive, but lasts a good 100 operating hours, which is three years for me. The new filter matched the original filter perfectly except for the dirt on the old one. It was pretty easy to install and the total installation time was less than five minutes.

Ideal for Spec K or S QG Microquiet. When replacing, make sure the filter is secure and fully tightened. I've had several Microquiets in the past and one came from the factory with a rubber bumper (the orange rubber ring that fits between the filter and the filter holder) that was too thick. Over time, the vibration from the loose seat would cause the body to fatigue and separate from the carburetor mount.
