I received my pretty cups yesterday. At first I washed three cups in the dishwasher without any problems. However, I was shocked that my fourth cup cracked as soon as I filled it with hot water. this morning. It wasn't even boiling water. Disappointed with this inferior quality stone glass, not like my other thick stone glasses.

One of my four mugs came without a lid but the seller sent me a lid immediately upon request. Excellent customer service. It's difficult to clean as the hole in the lid is too small for a hand to fit through, but a mug brush will do and I still wouldn't want the hole in the lid to be any bigger. I love that the lids have holes for the straws, as well as a stopper in case you don't need a straw.

To keep water on hand during the day I wanted the straw idea - it really encourages you to drink water. I tried plastic types that had some imperfections and the paper sagged. Stainless steel seemed ideal - all of this can be washed in the dishwasher. I like the handle and lid idea and the sturdier, sturdier shape. However, NEVER sip while walking and make sure the straw is pointing away from your body when moving with it. Tripping or falling can cause a very nasty wound or gouge out an eye. If

I just LOVE these mugs! Not only are the designs very sleek and modern, they are also incredibly functional. And the company seems to put a lot of emphasis on neat packaging (I've seen several reviews from other brands where glass tumblers came broken - that's not the case here). My favorite features of these mugs are probably a) a small stopper that holds a straw and b) stainless steel straws.
