It was great, kept warm, worked great, I even liked where the buttons were because I didn't accidentally turn them off during use like I did with make some curling tongs . The only problem in the first step was the clip wasn't tight enough and my hair slipped out a lot, but I was able to adjust to that. But within the 1st month the buttons and temperature controls stopped working and then the on/off button stopped working. Dead in the water in less than a month. I returned it for a full refund.

First of all it was a good product. After 7 months of use, part of the thumb grip was bent. Impossible to strengthen it as it bonds with hot metal. Because of this angle, the user cannot effectively open the iron. I've had a couple of instances where it didn't come off well when my hair was wrapped in a straightener. It's time to look for a replacement.

I have very, very coarse curly hair. NEVER twisted. I'm still experimenting, but from what I've used so far, it keeps its curls as long as you use the right products BEFORE using it. Heats up very very quickly. I was in a hurry for a wedding and managed to curl my hair in 15 minutes. Even if the curls fall out a little, this iron leaves a beautiful wave that lasts until the next day. The hair is not damaged at all!
