Very easy install, took about 15 minutes

Very easy install, took about 15 minutes. The product came quickly with fairly simple instructions. Installed on a 2015 Chevy Express 2500. Sure, it seems like there needs to be a connector that fits right into the wiring harness, but it works fine. I would recommend this product.

Quick and Easy: Towing and Winching Products

Installed on a 2016 Chevrolet Express 2500 People Carrier. The connection instructions were simple and clear. I also drilled holes to pass the tourniquet through the bottom. Instead, I bought an extension and plugged it in when needed. Closing the doors from above hadn't hurt him yet.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Slightly Torn

Inexpensive, high quality, perfect!

It couldn't be simpler; The one page instructions are very clear, the wire routings were perfect - no learning, no extra miles - and since my 2012 Chevy Express work van is a cargo model with no rear panels, the wiring harnesses were already fully exposed. and ready to be seated. Even allowing for the time it took to tie everything in place and clean it up, it was a 25 minute max job. Very satisfied!

Easy to install - works great

I drive a van. I live in it too. Kurt's harness was easy to connect. One side connects to the back on the driver's side (behind my bed) and the other to the passenger side next to the taillight. Luckily I thought ahead when assembling this van and left the connections easily accessible. It is so easy. Disconnect the corresponding connector, connect the wiring harness. Repeat for the other side of the van. (Also, connect the ground wire with the included screw.) If you drive a Chevy or GMC van…

I REALLY HAVE TO!

Hooking it up to my 2016 Chevy Express Van was a breeze. They will tell/show you how to hook this up to both your car's taillights and just leave the stem hanging out of the door, but. If you run it professionally (yourself) on both sides and use a door jamb seal to hide the wiring and then place it just under the rear bumper on the outside of the car you should be able to hook it up to the tow adapter. for 4 or 7 pins, shown without wire. Looks and works like a factory install. Beautiful and…

How to route cables across the floor.

This is how I installed the wiring harness on my 2019 Chevy Express Van. These plates can be removed with a flat head screwdriver. I drilled a hole on the rubber grommet to route the wires through the floorboard. The plank is a double board so I drilled it close to the edge. The Dolor panel covers the cables when reinstalled. To route the wires through the grommet, I cut the wires near the taillight connectors, then route the wires through the grommet to the taillights and splice them together.
