This will not work on a 5th Reese 22k wheel.

that doesn't work on a Reese 22k 5 wheel hitch, you literally have to bend your finger 8-10 degrees to install it. I made it work but I'm lucky I didn't break the needle, all I know is you can make it work but that's a bitch. It was a Reese 22k 5 wheel hitch built circa 2012.

Pros
  • Hitch Accessory
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Wrong story!

Product description needs to be changed. Although it adjusts to my 5 wheel rails, my hitch - Pullrite Superglide 2700 - won't allow removing the pin far enough to lock it in place. Also, the key is short lived and broke when I tried to lock it. Not a very good buy and not worth returning.

Pros
  • Coupling locks
Cons
  • No instructions

It fits perfectly with Reese rails

Perfect for my rails. With the 5th wheel on the back of the pickup on the 20K, I use guides and pins. I also have a gooseneck that attaches to rails. The pen is about 3 cm longer and fits perfectly. I went to the Reese website and they offer 2 locks, this lock is the same make and model number they offer $20 more.

Pros
  • External accessory
Cons
  • not reliable

Works great, you hardly notice it

It slipped right in. It's pretty discreet, and I feel better leaving my new black and white Patriot slider outside in the driveway. It only fits on the front rail of my truck because there isn't much room under the rails. It can work in any position on a different style slider or definitely on a sliderless slider. Normal 1/2" coupling pins do not fit because the lock cylinder is too thick.
