Seems simple enough. I put one in a couple of tool boxes as well as one with my drill bits. I can't say they "work", but I'm calm. I'm curious if I can cut them in half without sacrificing their potency.

I use these on my tools in my tool box. So far they have gotten along well with the fats and oils that have already been applied. Just an extra measure of security and I say it's worth spending $30 every few years to protect my $20,000 worth of tools.

They came in a cheap ziplock bag that showed signs of wear. For what they are they had to be vacuum sealed. Since their expiration date starts ticking when exposed to the atmosphere, I have serious doubts about their lifespan. What are you going to do? Order more and take a risk with another supplier? I hope they give you a year or two like they should? I can't trust them, I have to watch the guns in their cases. Luckily I threw the desiccant packs in there so that should still help.

These things may be downright wonderful, but when I opened the package they were in a cheap zippered bag that was already open. I live in Pittsburgh, which doesn't have the driest climate. So imagine them riding in the back of a truck from warehouse to warehouse and then sitting on my porch on a pretty muggy day. Just count. I don't know how old they are or how much life they have left because they weren't sealed. If I see good results I might give another better review, but until then it's up…
