Great product at a great price

I use it all the time and am very happy with its work. It replaced an analog thermometer that worked forever, somehow got damaged during cleaning and stopped working. I like the magnets that make it easy to keep it on the side of the oven where I use it the most. I've seen similar ones in the store 3-5 times more expensive.

Very easy to use! for kitchen utensils and gadgets

This meat thermometer works great. It has many features but the instructions are simple. The numbers are big and clear. I've only used it once, but it seems accurate. The desired temperature for different types of meat is noted on the thermometer, but detailed temperature instructions are also included. I've never had this strain and I really like it. It will also be good for hiking.

You need instructions for this. And it's translated from Chinese!

We just wanted a thermometer. Just insert and read the tempo. This dumb thing has an internal probe and an attachable wire probe. It beeps and then doesn't change temperature and you have to hold the button for a while. Don't even try to read the instructions! They make absolutely no sense! Bought a cheaper one which arrived today. Stay away from this garbage!

Best Bang for Buck for Thermometers and Timers

Legal. I cook and grill a lot so I check the thermometers and so far this is my favorite. There are many ways to use this including hooking up a wired thermometer and setting up an alarm clock to beep loudly when the meat is done - so cool. Love the magnet that has kept it from falling off the grill many times. Many flip thermometers don't have an on/off button, which drains the battery, but this one does too. The bottom line is that I plan to buy more than backups.

Accurate, inexpensive, easy to use

I had 2 meat thermometers, one broke and the other required a PhD so I was looking for new ones and this is one of the models I chose and glad I did. It's easy to use, accurate, and has a plug extension if you don't want to get close to the heat. All you have to do is open it, push the button and it's ready to use, you can use it in F or C and the rest is just testing it and reading the display. Pay attention to the battery costs when buying

On arrival, the battery was almost empty and the device was unusable. We had to buy a new $5 battery (yes, not cheap) to have a working thermometer (from other reviews this is a very common problem). The instructions are one of the 3 worst I've ever seen, they number things in the instructions (but they have words on the device) and never explain what the numbers mean. but if the battery actually works, everything is easy to understand.
