Tire levers with good grip

Very strong, can be squeezed just as easily as a normal lever. The plastic was delicate on the carbon rim. I got it hoping it might break the bead of my tubeless road tires in the field, but my bead is too tight. I ended up using wooden clamps with a plastic sponge to grip the tire. I could use them as a long lever and break the board.

Pros
  • Heavy duty
Cons
  • Mostly fine, but...

Expensive for a tire changer, but worth it

Fitting tubeless Cushcore tires can be PITA. I bought 2 of these arms, put the tires and inserts out in the sun for a while and was then able to change 2 tires in less than 30 minutes. I swear before I used the heat to loosen things and those levers I spent over an hour swearing trying to pop the tire on. These levers are strong enough for dh tires and the crank definitely makes things easier.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Everything is great

Too expensive for a tire dealer. but it works

This was a life saver when installing tire inserts (not just cushcores). I've used it to squeeze out the last foot or so of the tire bead, which is always a horrible nightmare that breaks regular tire arms when you try to install inserts. With this thing you can use loads of force to finish the job without breaking. It's expensive for what it is, a plastic tire lever, but it works.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • hard to tell

Expensive and unnecessary.

Don't waste your money. This lever, while strong, was not useful when mounting the tire. In fact, trying to use it as recommended, I punctured the rim tape and had to start over. In the end I mounted my tire as usual without tools. The point is to sink the tire bead into the groove of the rim, but this can be done with your fingers even under the bead. For reference, my tire size is 27.5 x 2.4.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Working speed

Strong and strong (not a weak tool)

I end up using one of my most important tools for every bike tire! I use it to place the bead of a bike tire on or off the rim. NOTE: DO NOT STRETCH tire beads! You need to slide the tire bead into the bottom center of the rim channel (and make sure it stays there!) The tire bead is smaller in diameter than the rim and won't stretch any more! Tires are easier to put on and take off if you keep in mind that the tire bead does not stretch, it needs to be placed and held down in the center channel

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
