The suction cups are dodgy, but the worst part is this thing is bad at keeping up. It's a little better with North and South, but West and East mostly ruin the bed. Nor can it keep up with North and South. The suction cups suck; You will likely need the included double sided tape. The cups alone aren't enough to keep this stupid thing in place. I'm blown away as others have not only talked about this compass but others it seems I always ride SW or SE! I have it on the windshield and I have moved it. If it's in my hands, that's for sure, but in the window? nope I used to have cheap dash compasses and they ALWAYS worked!
