Four Stars for Kitchen and Bathroom Faucets

The UC-200 filter does not retain calcium in our faucet. This is disappointing. UPDATE: After reading my comment above, the company quickly contacted me by phone. Working with a helpdesk employee, Chris, I was able to determine that the main cause of the limescale build up was the water heater that powers the entire house. This was a known problem that the UC-200 couldn't solve until I replaced the ten year old hot water unit. However, they sent me an updated replacement filter that seems to…

Residue in filtered water

Very disappointed, I replaced my previous (different brand) because I saw brown residue in a glass of water. I did some research and came across this brand because it has very good reviews. it took us about three weeks, i noticed from day one that flakes are floating in the water, i thought give them a few days, they can disappear, after a few days i don't see it anymore, so we drank water this Filter system until my daughter couldn't find the same thing after a few weeks. We were very upset…

Tasty water and great service!

I highly recommend the water filter. It makes our water taste great and eliminates the chemical taste and odor commonly associated with municipal water. We also bought 10 reusable water bottles to reduce plastic waste. CuZn's customer service is also exemplary. If you need other hoses or fittings for your installation, simply contact the company who will send you the hoses and/or fittings at no extra charge. I didn't have proper hoses since I had custom plumbing under my sink, so I had to go to

Best solution under the sink

Okay that's a great water treatment product. We use city water, and as most people know, the water contains many harmful elements. I had to do something to purify our drinking water as much as possible. I did a lot of research and the best solution I could find was CuZn. I have connected 2 of their systems to my existing filtration systems. The first uses a UC-200 case but is bone char filled...it removes fluorine and the second uses CuZn UC-200 which removes too much to list. The bone char was

Not sure if this filter actually filters

I don't know what to think of this filter. I connected this filter directly to the Avalon Water Cooler Dispenser. I didn't pay attention at first, but some members of my family started noticing some small white particles in the water. I'm really not sure what to think of this. I know the water has normal minerals in it and I think there are tiny white things in the water and I know it's normal, but the water that comes out of this filter has some BIG particles floating around. I added this…

Great value, great customer service

We have a single handle kitchen faucet and wanted to filter both hot and cold water so I bought 2 uc-200's. The cold install went great but the side atomizer kinda blocked the hot one until I used the atomizer. Unfortunately, I didn't even consider using a sprayer until I'd swapped hot and cold water filters, struggled with check valves that wouldn't always close, and spent more time than I liked with my head under the sink. I have emailed. CuZn supports the suggestion that their already good…

Ease of use 4 inch under-counter and counter-top filtration

Recently I was on a campaign against the excessive use of plastic (BPA-free containers, plastic cups, etc.). am honored to move away from Brita and other similar products. The ideal filter for me would be -1. Eliminate water additives that Brita just couldn't. Improve the taste of water 3. Easy to use4. They have a longer service life and do not require regular replacement of parts5. Does not affect water flow/pressure6. Do you have a filter material that does not affect the taste of the water…

Pros
  • 3-stage filtration process using microprecipitate membranes, KDF-55 and coconut shell activated carbon; The UC-200 does not decrement the TDS or PPM counter; if TDS or PPM is to be removed, a reverse osmosis filtration system is required; The UC-200 is designed to purify water without affecting health-promoting minerals and therefore the TDS or PPM readings show the same results when measuring the UC-200's filtered water and unfiltered water
Cons
  • . You could use a newer one Select model

Excellent customer service. Good product. Excellent results!

Okay, pros and cons. Cons: The device is about 18 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter (reportedly) and quite heavy. Therefore, the installation under the sink is a little tight. However, I will say that I was able to put it under the sink with my pull out trash and disposal - so it's not too bad. You just have to remember that. The directives are minimal, and it would actually be nice if they defined the "In" and "Out" flow on the device itself, not just in the directive. Pros: - First let me…
