I didn't have the right drill bit to drill holes for the dowels. So I'm not sure how long it will last with screws alone. Seems to be strong. However, the rollers that hold your brooms are quite stiff. If you pull too hard to pull the broom out, it can tear the entire block off the wall.

Use of 1/8" x 2" toggle bolts is highly recommended for added strength in place of the included hardware. Completely remove the supplied expansion bolts. Don't drill with a 6mm bit on both ends or your hole will be too big to fit the studs. Use the 2 pry bolts in the center and the 2 included bolts directly into the studs as the length of the stand is 16 inches from edge to edge. Works as intended. Elegant design. Love the screw caps.

Just installed and the metal case and overall construction looks very nice and well put together. Everything looked perfect. My only complaint is that the hardware that comes with it should be better! Especially the anchors. Try hammering them in a hole and they break, widen the hole a bit to push them through, they turn with the screw and eventually break or push through a drywall. The bolts may be too big for the anchors, but those anchors really need to be replaced with something stronger. I
