It worked, but then.

pressure gauge Good quality looks like it should work. Update 9-2019. Pressure gauge not working and always reads 40psi. It was installed on an old Volkswagen Bug engine to control the oil pressure as it is an air-cooled engine. It should last over 18 months.

A white background is required.

I've had black back before and with my eyesight the white is a bonus and the fluid seems thicker which is good for my hard riding. He already had leads, so he just screwed on the sensor and screwed on the lead. So if you had to buy fishing line, I'm sure it's not expensive and easy to put on.

Faulty sensor in the sensors

The sensor looked fine and worked for about 10 miles after which the sensor only read 20psi on an Evo motorcycle engine. Went back to the shop, put in another gauge of a different brand and the gauge read 35psi at 70mph. I put in the old pressure gauge, it showed the same thing. Return of a defective manometer.

Pros
  • Lighting and Electrical
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Used on my Harley for Electrical

I didn't want to pay up to $180 for HD Oil Pressure Kits so I installed it next to the crankcase on my 2013 HD FXDWG and mounted in front of the oil sensor. Using a brass tee and wiring the sensor in series, I now have both visual and notional light confirmation of my oil system. The sensor is flawless and immune to all engine vibration and these dynas are amazing!

Pros
  • Sensor Kits
Cons
  • Negative Impression
