Excellent CX333 excellent tri band antenna

This was a great birthday present for my husband and he loves it! It has great reception and 3 amateur friends are getting this antenna!

Pros
  • Portable audio and video
Cons
  • confused

Good performance is best in CB radios and scanners

Very well made antenna. The distance from the hut to the base of the LMR400 antenna is about 100 feet (about 50 feet from the ground), SWR 1.3 on all three bands.

Pros
  • Fixed CB radios
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

Antenna meets expected specifications

Extended range. This replaced a home made DB224 type antenna for our club repeater. We also look forward to adding 220 and 440 repeaters soon. The antenna is raised about 70-80 feet.

Pros
  • CB and talkback radios
Cons
  • sad packaging
