poor quality: art paper

Poor quality or left too long. I've tried all the recommended methods and searched for my own. Does not produce a dark print as shown in the photo. Faint uninteresting prints

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Not automatic

open pages? in drawing paper

I don't know much about cyanotypes, but I think I could get pages all open. The paper turned yellowish. I've tried a few times in the sun, different objects and conditioners but I always get some kind of yellowish tint, a slightly mottled blue color and no clear outline for my final product.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Secret

Good thick paper for solar printing. No instructions.

The paper has performed well and produced very good prints. The paper is heavy. The only negative comment is that some sheets had an uneven coating on the photosensitive side. I would also advise the manufacturer to include either an instruction page or a link to an online site.

Pros
  • How to use: put the object on special paper and put it in the sun for a while, then rinse the paper with water, and the created images will appear in minutes and stay forever; Objects that blind the sunlight appear white and the rest of the paper turns light Prussian blue
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

A little disappointed: drawing paper

I was very excited about this purchase and couldn't wait to use the sheets however the blue color was not as dark as it appears in the picture and so the overall effect was not what I liked I had hoped. I will probably use the leftover leaves as a fun project with my grandkids, but they are not of good quality to use as decorations as hoped.

Pros
  • High-quality material: This solar paper uses safe and high-quality materials and will last for a long time. Please note that all papers are sensitive to light and should be protected from sunlight when not in use. In a black bag
Cons
  • thin

It worked...mainly on art paper

Works.. . how? I've watched a lot of YouTube videos about cyanotype printing in the sun. I was expecting it to come out more blue and white. But this product came out bluish and light green. It was in the hot Vegas sun so it had to be light. I even sprayed it with hydrogen peroxide to enhance the effect, per some suggestions in YT's video. Still not entirely clear. Still a cool idea and process... but... If you're looking for the bright blue and white you're likely to get with real chemicals…

Pros
  • Wide application: It is a good exercise for children, whether in the classroom, camp, museum workshop or any other group environment, interact more with children, stimulate children's interest
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
