Cyberpower is THE BEST

I purchased this unit to replace an APC in my church that has given up the ghost because I personally use a Cyberpower Home Entertainment Surge Protector, as does my church based on my personal positive experience. You make an excellent product and I am delighted to support the company with this excellence. We use this device to secure our small internet phone system as well as our alarm system, so it's a pretty important component. I highly recommend this particular model!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Infinitely Sluggish

Good surge protection but issues with coax and outlets

Cyberpower 1080 form factor is good. The sockets are very nicely placed and the power switch is somewhat hidden, making it difficult to accidentally turn off the device. While I haven't looked at the circuit in detail, the internal wiring and components lead me to believe it will offer the claimed surge suppression. When I first got the unit it was almost impossible to insert the forks because the springs were so stiff. I almost had to use a hammer to knock them in. When plugged in a secondโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No power

CYBER POWER OUTLET STRIP product overview!

I got this Cyberpower socket back at a very good time and have been using it ever since. and sudden power outages. All my devices and devices plugged into this cyberpower outlet were safe. Everything still works so this product works as advertised. I also use it with Cyberpower PC and they both work well together.

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Best Protection Rating Available

I've done *a lot* of research looking for the best surge protector. The main goal was to have 330V at clamp voltage with at least a decent amount of joules. Let's hope that the 3600J for which it's designed allows these highly sensitive 330V MOVs to last a little longer, as they theoretically shunt voltage to ground a little more often. According to the Cyberpower website, this product has a 330V mount. Technically it's only on the HN line, the other two lines are 400V. Still better than theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • I don't really like anything, it's ok

Good enough to buy a second time

I had the same surge protector in my home office and thought it was very good. I like the two rows of outlets that allow for different types of plugs, and the four "wall warts" plugs don't waste outlets on the strip because other plugs stick out, and the power cord is long and heavy. long, with a flat, rounded plug end that allows the cable to fall against the wall instead of sticking out. I'm buying a replacement because my surge protector was damaged by a power surge during a lightning storm.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Works great, I've connected all major electronics to these

I bought two of these surge protectors: 1 for the office (computers, servers etc) and another for the living room ( HDTV, HTPC , game consoles, etc.). There have been several severe storms here in New York recently with heavy rain and lightning. Some of our neighbors had electronic issues but ours continues to work great. I like the spacing that allows for larger adapters etc. It's a bulky device, but worth it if you have multiple components.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I'll add later

I use this cool product

Provides all the ports and space I need for all the equipment I use in my work and I make sure all parts are protected from surges. I use it in many different conference rooms in many buildings across a wide area of Southern California where some buildings are new and some are VERY old (which I think is more risky when it comes to electrical wiring) and even more so last year I still had never problems.

Pros
  • every day
Cons
  • Vulgarity
