The 551 cam is designed for engines with 96 to 106 CID and 9:1 to 10:1 compression this is a bolt-in cam set designed for stock or mildly modified touring bikes. Greatly improves low-end and midrange torque, strongest from idle-4000rpm. S&S Chain Drive Easy Start Cams are a great way to increase performance at an affordable price, are installed in a short period of time reusing many stock components, and Easy Start Cams allow stock starter to start any engine. 551CE Cam kit includes cams, gearcover gasket, cam bearings, and instructions. Intake Opening (degrees): 15. Intake Closing (degrees): 20.

Great Results - Heavy & Commercial Vehicle Parts

Easy install on my 2007 StreetGlide FLHX. Featuring K&N Breather, Power Commander V and true Freedom Performance Duals. 108FP torque dyno, just what I was looking for without upgrading to a larger bore kit.

Starting problem solved

Just what I needed to avoid buying more starters. 551 works great on my 09 Roadglide. No more starting problems, works great. There is a ticking noise from the camera, but not enough to be distracting.

Cams S&S 551. Torque Monster!

All I can say is WOW! My Stock '13 Road Glide had 65 horsepower. and about 80 ft-lbs of torque. After installing those cams, a Cobra air intake and a Powervision tuner, it went up to 98.1 horsepower. Now it's a different bike!

Easy Start cameras are what you need

Very happy with the purchase. The previous owner installed SE-255 cams (and no decompression releases). My Ultra Classic has always had trouble starting. (Hot or cold) With the addition of S&S 551CE cameras, these problems appear in my rear view mirror.

S&S 551 CE Easy Start Cam

I have a 2008 Ultra Classic 96ci, it has Cobra Head Pipes, Screamin Eagle Street Guns, Super Professional Tuners, Heavy Duty Air Cleaner, I used Quickie pushrods, Twisted 12mm . Ignition cables, when the bike was set up on the dyno, horsepower went from 73.70 to 81.69, torque went from 86.36 to 96.24, bike runs great, I have the Glide103 ci street engine about a mile or let it run more, he took me over 3 wheel lengths quite well, next year a set with a large bore and work with his head.
