🔍 S&S Cycle Teardrop Air Cleaner Kit 106-4722 Replacement Air Filter Review

I rebuilt the carburettor and it's time for a new air filter. This one arrived quickly and was an exact replacement. You should git-cha alone if your filter is old and doesn't clean like it did years ago.

I had to add the screws a half inch longer. The new filter is thicker, but worth the extra effort! Can really tell the difference, the carb REALLY breathes easily! Perfect fit for S&S D4 378 cover and S&S Tear Drop base 17-0502. The answer to the question: does it fit the S&S D4 378 cover is wrong. The person providing the answer assumes the D4 378 is an old style Super B Tear Drop cap, which is not the case. The old style Super B Tear Drop cover features nostalgic raised S&S Cycle lettering.
