Very good shorts suitable for sportswear

I bought these shorts for my husband so here is his review I use a lot of cycling shorts and can say these are amazing. Very useful for long trips. Suede leather with a small amount of suede oil provides a comfortable walking experience. I'm 6ft 3" and 165lbs so I'm slim and size L fits perfectly. They are pretty well ventilated as they have mesh areas. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a good pair of shorts that won't break the bank.

Great shorts for the price

I am a keen cyclist and wear shorts from Pearl Izumi, REI and other major brands for 2 or 3 times the price of these shorts and can honestly say they are great value for money -Provide money with good performance. The only difference is the thickness of the material, these shorts are thin material and I don't expect them to last super long but for $20 they are worth it. I'm interested in how they hold up. I have a 38" waist and ordered XL and they are quite tight. I will order XXL, so be sure…

Not bad could be better

These shorts are true to size. I rode about 100 miles in these shorts. I think the shorts are well made and fit well. They always stay in place, the waist doesn't roll up and the leg supports prevent the shorts from riding up the leg. The reason for the four stars is the chamois. This is more uncomfortable than wearing unlined shorts. The suede is too wide for me in the crotch area. The no suede shorts are very good shorts for the price but the padding needs a bit of work. I still ride with…

Returned immediately Very small and clear inserts

Returned in less than a minute. I'm usually fine with US XL @ 5ft 11in 210lbs. Waist 38 inches. However, as they are Asian sizing as mentioned, I ordered them one size up as recommended. However, they were still too tight. 3XL would probably work. However, I also noticed that the side panels were translucent high on the thigh and you could see through them. The upholstery looked adequate but also looked dirty as if it had been worn before. This is also a good reason to wear underwear for the…

Fits well with disappointing padding

Ok bad start for my size. I am 6ft 195lbs. I also order XL. The actual fit of the shorts is great. Good length and it fits well just above my knee. My problem is that the padding seems too small and maybe too far forward. So if you're driving seated, you're half on the cushion and half on it. But if you ride drops or an aggressive aero position, the padding will do. I feel like they should have used more padding to accommodate both fits. Would I recommend this product? Maybe it depends on your…

Not bad for the price

Price wise they are cheaper than cycling shorts. Reservations about the overall durability of the shorts. They have a "cheaper" foam pad instead of the gel pad that some people prefer. I'm also fine with foam, but we'll see how it holds up after a few washes. It may also be obvious, but on this page all shorts shown are different. They don't just change color like most offerings do. Even the pads differ in size and style (not just color). The seams and seams are different if you look closely…

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Quality shorts - highly recommend

Quality cycling shorts. The lining (suede) is way better than any other in my six or so cycling shorts. I have a lot of shorts with Coolmax pads - this is clearly not the same but is higher density foam (it doesn't look like gel unless the gel is sandwiched between the outer layers of foam). I typically ride 50+ miles and pad quality matters after 20 miles. If there's a better pad I'd love to know, but I can't imagine it could be much better than this one. How long it will last remains to be…

Pros
  • High test scores for support and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Smart design for maximum comfort

I'm very impressed with these empty cycling shorts at home! spent a lot of money on a new exercise bike. I wasn't expecting much from these shorts but I find the padding to be more comfortable for longer rides than the other three brands I've tried in the same price range. Compared to the 4D Souke Sports cycling shorts, the CYCWEAR 4D padding feels more solid and better constructed. I'm not sure how to describe how much the sponkier type of this padding is better, but after a few rides it's…
