I'm very impressed with these empty cycling shorts at home! spent a lot of money on a new exercise bike. I wasn't expecting much from these shorts but I find the padding to be more comfortable for longer rides than the other three brands I've tried in the same price range. Compared to the 4D Souke Sports cycling shorts, the CYCWEAR 4D padding feels more solid and better constructed. I'm not sure how to describe how much the sponkier type of this padding is better, but after a few rides it's clearly better. Better than gel - I also compared them to the BALEAF 3D men's cycling shorts and the SYKROO triathlon cycling shorts. 3D images with both gel functions. At first I really thought the gel would be better if I just tested it with my fingers. But after riding my bike for a while I feel like I have a brick in my pants and regret everything. It's not that bad, but I know I can ride longer in CYCWARE shorts just because I don't have that thought in my head. I don't think about my back because CYCWEAR took care of it. I definitely prefer to wear them on trips longer than two hours. Fit - Weight 205 lbs. and a 37" waist, I have a fairly slim butt - hopefully that gets fixed soon. I find CYCWEAR have a very snazzy pad design, it really suits me. The holes they have really seem to go all in these keeping dark sweaty areas dry and helping to avoid aggravation.I ordered 3X which fits well but I'll probably order 2X next time for some extra compression.I also really like the non-slip rubber.It will Don't stop their circulation and really hold them in place.I was skeptical about this elastic at first, it really doesn't look very good.Other brands use non-slip silicone band which I liked until I tried CYCWEAR.The price is the craziest part , they are as comfortable as my Specialized RBX shorts and about a third cheaper So yeah great purchase Summary - I will definitely be buying another pair in the future and hof fe that you find them useful. The shorts are well thought out and designed for comfort. The style is pretty cool and one day when I lose weight I can imagine seeing myself in baggy shorts in the real world.
