A very good set with good colors. My kids fight over who gets to use these sets, not our old ones. I'd say the colors are lighter and don't blend as well as Crayola, but they're not as expensive either, so I think it's a good compromise. They are still good but the colors are a little lighter. The round box is cute but definitely not sturdy. It's just cardboard. The lid broke during shipping. One could sit at the table but not endure a bag of books or frequent travel.

It's not that it's very strong, but its design is perfect for laying out crayons and it stays balanced when full or partially empty. This also encourages children to put the pins back in the cylinder. I don't know why but it works so don't hesitate. It is used for toddler homeschooling and my first order was about 4 months ago. The only reason I bought these crayons was the number of different colors. I was also impressed with the packaging as the last pencil order I ordered from Revain was damaged and falling apart in the shipping envelope. It seemed like a great idea. Bought as a gift for my 10 year old artist niece. she loved her. They come pre-sharpened and the container is sturdy. The lid fits well and none of them are broken. The colors are beautiful.
