Great for our rowing boat

Light works great. Lots of wire. The only problem is the magnets aren't strong enough to hold while traveling. We tied it after losing the first pair. Lesson learned. ***Update: The customer service from this company is outstanding. After seeing my review, they contacted me and sent me a free replacement. Many Thanks!***

Great magnetic headlights

I just bought a new car to tow behind a camper van. I only had a few days to get ready before embarking on the long journey. With no time to hook up to the car's actual taillight system, these exterior lights did the trick. They're easy to install, have magnets to hold them in place (drive to 70mph with ease) and are easy to see from the front (yellow) and rear (red).

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Almost never

Great accessory for my motorcycle hitch mount

I have a motorcycle hitch mount so I can carry my motorcycle on the back of my jeep. The problem is that the motorcycle is obscuring all of my jeep's taillights. I bought this tow kit so I can put the lights on the trunk. The magnets are strong, the cable connections are perfect, and the headlights are clearly visible to the cars behind. Headlights, brake lights and indicators work as they should. Now I am legal and safe.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything is fine

Was exactly what I needed and works as described

Ordered this to drive a 'toad' for a camper van. The only mod I made was to cover the entire jumper wire with a homemade sheath to avoid damaging or scratching the car's paintwork. Works perfectly. To make it "foolproof" I marked the right lightbulb so figuring out which one goes on which side is a breeze (her instructions are clear but my marking made it REALLY easy. I marked them twice on two Travel uses so far and haven't had any questions. The magnets hold and don't slip.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction

  • Weight

Strong magnets! They will hold on and hold on.

Probably the best magnetic headlights I've found for under $200. The magnets are very strong, at least 50#, and will easily stay connected to a galvanized steel trailer at 70 mph. They are not waterproof, but they can withstand rain without any problems. My only complaint is that the wires are not well insulated so you have to cover them with plastic wrap or you risk damaging the wires. I covered mine, and now I don't even think about it. Aside from that one star deduction, they're great for my

  • Hard to say

We only work for a short time

This is the second set I have bought and although they are different brands they are identical to the first. They too, like the first, lasted for several months and then died. Don't expect them to last more than a month or two. If you need a short-term fix, they work great for a few weeks. Also note that the wires come out the wrong side of the case and face each other correctly. The light closest to the connector is the right signal, and the end of the wire is the left signal. With your wires…

Pros
  • The best in his niche
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Incredible customer service

Stops working after 2 months. First the one on the right stopped glowing, and now none of them are working. UPDATED: This company has gone above and beyond to support their product. I did not return the item as it was well outside the return window when I had problems. But after I read about my problem, their representatives contacted me. Unfortunately, the e-mails ended up in spam. But they didn't stop helping. They moved over and over again. One day a few months later, while checking my spam…

Works great!: Tow Bar Accessory

Magnets are strong. They didn't fly off the trailer at all and were moving at full wind power at 70-80 mph on the interstate. I've seen a few reviews of magnets not working, but it's probably something to do with the thin metal. The rails I attached them to were 1/4" (0.25") steel. If it's really thin steel, like 18ga (0.04") or even 16ga (0.06") they might not hold up. 11ga (.125) will probably hold. All I had to do was take the red/yellow plastic off of them and rearrange them, which wasn't…

  • Questionable purchase for seniors

100% cheap junk plastic

I bought these lights to replace the lights on a metal trailer I already had. It's not a heavy trailer, it has a thousand-pound payload capacity. After gluing the lights to the trailer, the trailer traveled about 300 feet down the street before one of the lights lost magnetism and fell (not even on our driveway) at about 15 mph. Then I taped the magnetic base to the piece of metal that the base was originally on. The lights then ran for about 4 miles until one of the plastic brackets actually…
